Hermes - Planet: Mercury
Celeste Korsholm <[email protected]>
In Greek mythology, Hermes, a son of Zeus and Maia, was one of the twelve olympian gods. He was the messenger of the gods, traditionally depicted with winged heels and hat and carrying the caduceus, a winged staff. The Romans called him Mercury. On the Planetary Council, Hermes represents the planet Mercury, the communication center in the solar system. Hermes works to improve communication between mankind on Earth and intelligent life throughout the cosmos. |
