After working in the graphic design field I found that I had gotten very
serious about my art and had forgotten how to play. I worked to gradually
recapture the freedom of expression that I experienced as a child. Then an
Angel asked me to begin drawing Soul Portraits and Visionary Art. At the
time I had no idea what this was. The only thing I knew was that I was
suppose to use my artwork to help others. I began to practice by creating
portraits of my friends.
After a few months I began to draw Soul Portraits at
local fairs and expos. To my surprise my intuitive abilities also began to
emerge at that time. I began to see energy, faces, and angels and I included
these images in the portraits. Later I was guided to the cloud gazing
technique that I use in creating the Visionary Art. I found this way of drawing
to be very freeing because I didn't have to decide what subjects to draw. I
have seen how my artwork has helped many people. I feel blessed to have
touched so many people's lives in this way.
